CFMEU WA Launches ‘Falls from Heights’ Safety Campaign
The CFMEU Western Australia has produced and launched a powerful new awareness campaign highlighting the deadly risks of working at heights – one of the leading causes of fatalities in the construction industry.
Developed in partnership with the Mark Allen Memorial Fund, the campaign honours the memory of Mark Allen, a young CFMEU organiser who tragically lost his life in a workplace fall in 1996.
Through a series of compelling videos rolled out across major social media platforms and on-site promotional materials, the initiative aims to spark vital conversations about safety and remind workers to think before they climb.
The CFMEU WA is urging all employers, supervisors and workers to treat height safety as a non-negotiable priority – because every life lost on site is one too many.
Remember, working at heights is deadly serious.
